In a shocking move, Titan Poker has cut ties with its professional poker player representatives this week.

Marvin Rettenmaier took to his Twitter page to break the news:

“@titan_poker has decided to part ways with its Pro Team. I am very thankful for the opportunities and I had a great time representing them.”

British poker pro Sam Trickett was also let go.

Both Trickett and Rettenmaier signed contracts with the online poker room back in March of 2010.

Titan Poker runs on the iPoker Network, operated by Playtech.  It is among the network’s marquee brands.

The news comes just as another online poker venture, Lock Poker, has vowed to continue bringing on new pros as it takes over the Cake Gaming Network, soon to be rebranded as Revolution Gaming.
