Overnight, Tiger Woods US Masters odds were coming in at 4/1 after being slashed a quarter point to +385 earlier Wednesday.  Rory McIlroys odds have gotten longer by an entire point from an earlier +525 to the current +625.  Bookmaker.eu, which has been serving the sports bettor since 1985, continued to update the odds and was offering up to $500 in FREE CASH on an initial deposit.  Bets will be taken up to the start of Thursday’s play with updated odds following each day’s play here

“We believe this could be the most wagered on US Masters yet,” expressed Payton O’Brien, Senior Editor of the Gambling911.com website.  “If traffic to the site is any indication, US Masters search inquiries are currently making up approximately 70 percent of Gambling911.com’s traffic over these past four days.”

Much of that has to do with Woods and McIlroy’s appearance at this year’s event and the recent win by Woods at Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill.  He hasn't won a major since claiming the 14th of his career in the 2008, but at the time his odds were closer to EVEN or required an $11 bet to win $10.  Today, Tiger would pay out $400 or more on a $100 bet or $40 on a $10 bet.

“The value is enhanced by quadruple,” noted O’Brien.

"I think he's going to have a great week," Phil Mickelson says. "To have won heading in I think gives him a lot of confidence. Sucks for us."
Woods has 12 top-10s in 15 starts as a professional at Augusta National.

McIlroy, meanwhile, comes into this year’s US Masters with a bad taste in his mouth and a desperate need to make amends.  It was last year that the Irishman entered the final round with a four-shot lead only to suffer an epic meltdown sending him into a 15th-place finish by the end.

“Maybe I’ve just got the mindset that I can handle it a little better than others and feel like, at that point, I had many more chances to win a major or win a Masters,” McIlroy said.  “It wasn’t the end of the world. Again, it’s only golf. It’s not like anyone died out there.”
