Stanford has won 7 of their last 10 games while Minnesota has won 6 of their last 10.

The Cardinal are 3-8 ATS in their last 11 games following a ATS win.

The Golden Gophers are 4-0-1 ATS in their last 5 games following a S.U. win.

The Golden Gophers are 5-0-1 ATS in their last 6 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600.

Minnesota is 7-0-1 ATS in their last 8 games overall.

Minnesota is 6-0-1 ATS in their last 7 games vs. a team with a winning S.U. record.

The Cardinal played at Madison Square Garden back in November.

The Associated Press noted that, winning the NIT last year was a springboard to success for Wichita State with the Shockers earning a No. 5 seed in this season's NCAA tournament.

"Whenever you're invited to play in postseason, you get a chance to continue to develop your team, through practices, through just the ability to play in these one-and-done situations," Stanford's head coach Johnny Dawkins said. "I think there's something about that -- it hardens you. It makes you a better team; it makes you a tighter unit."
