ESPN was reporting that the much sought after NFL free agent quarterback Peyton Manning will begin workouts for the Denver Broncos, for whom Sportsbook.com lists with 25-1 odds of winning the 2013 Super Bowl

Officials from the Broncos will watch Manning workout at the indoor facility for Duke in Durham, North Carolina.

"It's incredible how much progress he's made in throwing the football," Duke Coach David Cutcliffe told The Tennessean of Nashville. "He's gotten his arm strength back and his accuracy is there.

"I'm not an NFL coach, of course, but I think I know what it takes to complete passes in the NFL, and it's clear that Peyton can make all those throws.”

Manning had just met with officials from the Tennessee Titans over an 8-hour period.

Three teams remain in the running for Peyton Manning including Denver, the Arizona Cardinals and the Tennessee Titans.  The Cards were listed with 30/1 odds of winning the 2013 Super Bowl.  Tennessee was listed with 20/1 odds.

The Miami Dolphins had been the initial favorite to land Manning but were advised this week that they are no longer in the running.
