Toledo vs. Air Force Line

The Toledo vs. Air Force line was coming in at -3 in favor of Toledo here with an OVER/UNDER of 71.   Betting on this Military Bowl game can be done at BetOnline.com.  You can claim up to $900 in FREE CASH when you join today here.

Blake Frazier of BetOnline.com suggests that Air Force has a solid chance of winning this game as Toledo will be missing a key component:

“It’s hard to play when your coach has departed for another school. Toledo was probably the favorite with Tim Beckman on the sidelines, but with Beckman now at the University of Illinois, Air Force is probably going to have more fuel in the tank.”

Frazier added:  “Experts who are looking at this contest will tell you that Air Force coach Troy Calhoun is a tough customer in bowl games. He beat Georgia Tech last year and Houston the year before. Air Force retained the Commander-In-Chief’s Trophy this season and played Boise State on relatively even terms for four hard-fought quarters on the smurf turf of Idaho. This is still a fun team to watch with quarterback Tim Jefferson directing an offense that gives defensive coordinators dozens of different looks per game, often changing formations before the snap. If you love thoughtful and creative uses of personnel, Calhoun – like the Toledo staff – revels in his ability to mix things up. The fact that Beckman is no longer the Toledo coach (he’s now at Illinois) should aid the Falcons in their efforts as well.”

There are not a whole lot of stats that give either team an edge in this contest.   The Rockets are 8-3 Against The Spread in their last 11 games as a favorite.

The Falcons are 3-9 ATS in their last 12 games following a Straight Up win.

Xavier Worthy = Tyreek Hill 2.0?  Perhaps, and if that comes to fruition at any point in the future, the Bills only have themselves to blame.

J.J. McCarthy Drafted Number 3 Odds to Patriots

To be clear, the Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy is pretty certain to land in Minnesota.  But what if the New England Patriots shock us and pick McCarthy at Number 3 before the Vikings get their opportunity at No. 5?
