San Diego Chargers vs. Jacksonville Jaguars Betting Odds

San Diego Chargers vs. Jacksonville Jaguars betting odds had the Chargers as a -3 point favorite on the road

The schedule makers probably had no idea that this Monday Night Football game would feature two teams with losing records.  The Chargers entered this season as the team widely expected to win the AFC West.

In a perfect world, the Jaguars – a team in absolute turmoil - would provide San Diego with the perfect opportunity to end their 6 game losing skid.  To be fair, San Diego’s six losses have come against five teams with winning records.  The problem here is that San Diego will be trekking across country we really don’t have an idea how Jacksonville will react to the firing of long time head coach Jack Del Rio.

Last year, San Diego beat Jacksonville at home by 38-13.

Let’s look at a few historic stats related to these two teams.

The Chargers are 2-8-1 Against The Spread in their last 11 games as a road favorite.

The Chargers are 0-7-1 ATS in their last 8 games following a S.U. loss.

The Chargers are 0-6 ATS in their last 6 games overall.

San Diego is 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games on grass.

The Jaguars are 2-8-1 ATS in their last 11 games as an underdog.

J.J. McCarthy Drafted Number 3 Odds to Patriots

To be clear, the Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy is pretty certain to land in Minnesota.  But what if the New England Patriots shock us and pick McCarthy at Number 3 before the Vikings get their opportunity at No. 5?
