The Broncos-Raiders line was coming in anywhere from -7.5 to -9 in favor of Oakland after opening at -5.5.

Stats Inc. noted that the Raiders are hopeful an extra week of practice plus the acquisition of one of Carson Palmer's former teammates can help the two-time Pro Bowl quarterback get more comfortable with the offense.  The Broncos can only hope Tebow learns from his many mistakes.

That’ a tall order for such a big spread, however, so Gambling911.com isn’t exactly recommending a wager on the spread.  Perhaps Denver can pull off an upset.  The money line for this game was set at +305 for the Broncos to win outright for a payout potential of $305 for every $100 bet or $30.50 for every $10 bet.

Keep in mind when betting the spread that, while Oakland has won the last four in this series, they have not covered the current number in three of those games.

The Raiders are very much in the hunt to win the AFC West at 4-3 and would pay out $260 for every $100 bet or $26.50 for every $10 bet.  Granted, that price doesn’t exactly grab our attention when you have San Diego still solid and Kansas City on a tear of late.  The Chiefs, by the way, pay only slightly less than Oakland at +245.  There we see value!

Let’s check out the video betting preview for the Broncos-Raiders game….
