The Chargers-Chiefs Monday Night Football line opened at -3.5 in favor of the visiting Chargers and has since moved down a half point.  80 percent of those betting the spread were backing Kansas City.

San Diego has won 7 of the last 8 in this series while only winning at home this year against the Chiefs by 3 points.  While the Chiefs and Chargers split wins last season, San Diego rendered KC scoreless 31-0.

The Chargers are 2-7-1 Against The Spread in their last 10 games as a road favorite.

The Chiefs are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games as an underdog of 0.5-3.0.

The Chiefs are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games in Week 8.

The Chiefs are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 home games vs. a team with a winning road record.

Kansas City has won its last three games after a slow start while San Diego lost last week to the Jets after leading at halftime.  They had entered that game with a four-game win streak.

"We just need to play better and put a complete game together," said Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers, who finished with a season-low 179 passing yards. "We still haven't put one together and we're 4-2. You can look at that two ways: Obviously we're not playing as good as we can and we've won four games, or we better put it together or we're not going to get done what we want to get done."

Let’s check out the video betting preview for this game.
