The Texans-Titans spread for Week 7 of the 2011 regular season was listed at -3 in favor of Tennessee.  The line on this game has not budged anywhere except for the Mirage in Las Vegas which moved it up a half point.  70 percent of those betting the spread were backing Houston.

Stan Simmons of BetOnline.com offered his take on how this game should go down:

“Houston’s offense just isn’t the same without Andre Johnson, and they’re not going to be able to put up enough points to beat the Titans, who should get a solid game from Chris Johnson. The Tennessee defense should up enough for the Titans to come away with the win and not only that, they’ll cover the spread. “

These two teams have pretty much alternated wins over the past couple of seasons.

The Texans are 8-2 Against The Spread in their last 10 games after scoring less than 15 points in their previous game.

The Texans are 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games following a SU loss of more than 14 points.

Houston is 1-5 ATS in their last 6 road games.

The Texans are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games as an underdog.

The Titans are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games following a S.U. loss.

The Titans are 17-7-1 ATS in their last 25 games as a home favorite of 0.5-3.0.

Tennessee is 22-10-1 ATS in their last 33 games after allowing more than 150 yards rushing in their previous game.
