The United Kingdom’s largest online bookmaker, William Hill, has promised its Tel Aviv-based online affiliate staff, Affiliates United (AffUtd), one month's extra pay and six months notice in the event their jobs are set to be terminated.

The Affiliates United employees mounted a revolt this week, walking out on their jobs after reports surfaced that they would be relocated to the company’s Gibraltar headquarters.  William Hill revealed that some of its executives from that branch and others are set to receive disciplinary action as a result of what they claim is “fabricated information”.

The company has advised that the close to 200 workers will receive guaranteed six months notice/severance pay, per an internal memo leaked to media outlets including Gambling911.com.

"We are committed to Israel and have no intention to close the office at any time," the email to employees read. "I know some people wanted a commitment that their jobs were 'safe' until a certain date. If I give a date, people will assume that at that date we will close the office – which would not be the case."

Some at William Hill have expressed concerns over its association with the Affiliated United team, however, a result of affiliate complaints related to changing ad deals following agreed terms.

The walk out has resulted in sagging share prices for Hill.
