Despite the news that Chicago star linebacker Brian Urlacher’s mom passed away suddenly this week at the age of 51, oddsmakers have yet to move the line on the Bears-Saints game from -6.5.

"My mother, Lavoyda, unexpectedly passed away Monday at her home in Texas," Urlacher said in a statement. "My first priority right now is to be with my family as we mourn her loss and make the arrangements to lay her to rest. This is a very difficult and emotional time for us and I sincerely ask that you respect our privacy. Thank you."

A cause of death was not immediately known.

It is unclear as to whether Urlacher will play on Sunday.

"You can't replace a guy like him," Bears quarterback Jay Cutler said. "He's the heart and soul of this team."

Since 2008, the Bears are 21-13 with Urlacher in the lineup and 7-8 without him.

The Bears defeated a favored Atlanta Falcons at home in their first game of the 2011 season.
