Those playing on the popular Merge Poker online skins are now reporting approvals and payouts within a 2 to 3 week period, a vast improvement over June’s highly publicized backlog of more than a month after the company more than tripled in size after PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker left the US market April 15.

Merge itself had to stop accepting new US customers temporarily as a means of acquiring additional payment solutions.  The company is expected to re-enter the American market shortly, though they will no longer accept new registrants from residents of 7 states.

Merge is averaging close to 1200 real cash players weekly and currently ranks as the 12th largest online poker room globally.
