Indianapolis Colts Odds to Win the 2011 Super Bowl

The Indianapolis Colts odds to win the 2011 Super Bowl were set at 17/1 while AFC South division odds were around -150 with the Houston Texans providing a threat.  As long as there is Peyton Manning, the Colts will always be contenders for the Playoffs and Super Bowl.

Andy Benoit of the New York Times writes

Put ‘em down for at least 10 wins and, more likely, 12 or 13. It is surprisingly easy to forget, but the last time this team stayed healthy, it started 14-0 and reached the Super Bowl. The lockout figures to favor clubs that have built familiar, successful systems over the years. Thus, the question is: Is this system familiar enough to operate without Manning having practiced in it for six months?

The Colts odds to win the division, while good, don’t have much value at -150.  Their odds of winning the 2012 Super Bowl, on the other hand, have very good value.  Any time you get the Peyton Manning-led Colts at better than double digit odds of winning a Super Bowl, that is some good value.    Winning the AFC Conference still pays double digit odds at 10/1.
