The biggest free poker site online for Texas Hold’em fans, Zynga, has made its Google+ debut along with Angry Birds.

Josh Holt of Myona.com noted that Google now presents a serious threat to Facebook’s online gaming social networking platform with its latest innovation:

The Google+ project much closer to Facebook’s territory than everyone else. With the earlier announcement published on the Google Blog, they’re officially one step closer.

Users will soon be able to log into their Google+ account and play all sorts of games just right inside the social network service. And from the look of it, they will be doing it right too.

Cut throat competition is the name of the game here as Google will look to entice developers with 95 percent of the revenue compared to Facebook allowing its developers just 70 percent.

That's a way to woo developers to consider Google+ first, says Wedbush Securities analyst Michael Pachter. "And somebody will. There's a lot of guys who have a lot of trouble getting noticed on Facebook."

"Google is going after Facebook seriously," Pachter says. "The trick is, is there anything Google+ is doing that Facebook can't rip off? … If a game shows up on Google+ and gets any traction, then immediately that person can go over to Facebook and say, 'Promote my game.'"

While Google+ members will have access to Zynga Poker, they will have to do without another popular Zynga game, Farmville.
