Premier League top goalscorer betting odds for the 2011-2012 season are now available at 888Sport.com.
The single digit top goalscorer leaders were Javier Hernandez (8/1), Wayne Rooney (8/1), Fernando Torres (9/1) and Robin Van Persie (9/1). Carlos Tevez came in at 10/1 odds.
Hernandez, the forward for Man United, was the Gold Cup's top scorer at this year’s CONCACAF Cup with 7 goals and was named most valuable player after his team, Mexico, beat the USA 4-2 in the Final.
There’s a reason he is favored. On 5 July 2011, the International Federation of Football History and Statistics named Hernández the "World Goalgetter 2011” following his 13 goals.
