The Alexis Sanchez saga and the Udinese star won’t be going to Chelsea, Manchester United or Man City.  He’s off to Barcelona as part of a £23mil signing.

120x60 £

Barcelona remained a 2 to 1 favorite to win the Champions League 2011-2012 at 888 even after the signing was announced.

Sanchez helped the Chilean side reach the quarter-finals of this year’s Copa America competition before ultimately getting beaten by Venezuela.

The footballer had long been linked to a potential deal with Chelsea and the two Manchester teams.

A Barcelona statement on Friday read: 'Udinese and FC Barcelona have reached a definitive agreement for the transfer of Alexis Sanchez.

'The medical, signing of his contract for the next five years and presentation will take place on Monday.'
