Betdaq Cuts Off Australian Online Gamblers

The betting exchange Betdaq has stopped accepting online gambling business from Australia.  It is reported that the company was operating there without a legitimate licence.

A spokesman for the Irish company is reported to have said: “A legal problem has developed. It should be sorted out soon but until further notice we will not be operating on Australian sport.”

The company had mostly been taking bets on Australian Rules Football while offering an online poker room and Internet casino.

Betdaqis the trading name of Global Betting Exchange and is considered the second largest betting exchange after Betfair.
