Cristiano Ronaldo has decided he will continue playing at Real Madrid for the 2010 – 2011 season in order to win a championship. And he definitely won’t be playing in London any time soon.
“I think if I went from Spain it would be to the Premier League – but not now,” he said. “First we have to win the Champions League. If I went back to the Premier League it would have to be with a club in the north west. I don’t like London.”
While there has been some difficult times had between Jose Mourhino and Ronaldo, the two have since mended their differences, or so it appears.
"This season we are going to be a big force. Jose Mourhino is staying at Madrid so I stay. If he went to Chelsea then I would have left. I would have gone to Manchester City. But now he’s staying, I’m staying.”
Outside of Real, Man City had the next likely odds of landing Ronaldo at 5 to 1.
