Oddsmakers are betting on Manchester United landing Samir Nasri during the 2011 summer transfer window and have him pegged as the top signing at 6/4 odds.
The French player and current member of Arsenal was nominated last year for both the PFA Player’s Player of the Year and PFA Young Player of the Year awards. He won neither.
Arsenal is all but sure to lose Nasri. Man United stands the best shot of gaining him at 4/9 odds.
Nasri is listed at 50/1 odds to be the top goal scorer in 2011-2012 at William Hill.
Man United was expected to bid £20 on Nasri this week.
Edinson Cavani and Jack Rodwell were both listed with 2/1 odds of becoming Man United’s top signing for the summer transfer window period. But Wesley Sneijder is now gaining traction at 7/2 odds as of Tuesday June 28.
