Howard Lederer and Chris Ferguson Step Down from PPA Board

News broke this afternoon that Howard Lederer and Chris Ferguson have stepped down from the Poker Player Alliance board. Quadjacks.com made the announcement on its podcast Monday afternoon. Photos of both players were removed from the PPA website.

Both have integral ties to Full Tilt Poker, which was among the three online poker rooms indicted by US authorities on April 15.

Observers believe that The Poker Players Alliance is working to distance itself from Full Tilt Poker and PokerStars, another of the indicted online poker firms. Both companies have been among the PPA’s biggest supporters in recent years.
