VCU vs. Kansas Line Opens at -11

The VCU vs. Kansas line had Virginia Commonwealth University as the +11 underdog against the NCAA Tournament’s only remaining number one seed.  VCU comes into this game as an 11^th-seeded team.  They have become the primary Cinderella school remaining in the Tournament along with Butler.  Kansas was getting 65 percent of the early spread betting action at Bookmaker.com. 

VCU managed a 72-71 overtime win against Florida State Friday night. 

Bradford Burgess made the winning layup with six seconds left as VCU advanced to its first Elite Eight.
"I had been messing up -- my layups were getting blocked," said Burgess, who scored 26 points, making six of seven 3-pointers. "I wasn't going to the hole strong enough, and I said if I got the chance I wanted to win the game for the team."
An 11-seed reached the Elite Eight for the fifth time. No. 11 seeds are 2-2 in the Elite Eight.

Kansas meanwhile easily handled the 12^th-seeded Richmond Spiders Friday evening.  This is their 4^th Elite Eight appearance in 8 seasons.

Thomas Robinson had 12 points and 14 rebounds, and Marcus Morris scored 13 for Kansas.

The Jayhawks have won all of their Tournament games thus far by an average of nearly 18 points.
