Georgia vs. Washington odds for the second round of the 2011 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament had the Huskies a -5 point favorite and getting just over 80 percent of the spread action.  The total on this game was 139.5 with nearly 85 percent of the action going towards the OVER at betED.com.

The winner of this game is likey to draw the No. 2 seed North Carolina in the third round.

The Bulldogs spent a few days on the bubble after losing to Alabama.

"It's a grand opportunity to be at this point and still be playing," Bulldogs forward Trey Thompkins said. "I feel like our team is mature enough that we can handle the fact that we're in the tournament very well. Coach (Mark) Fox has done a great job of keeping us focused and worried about the task at hand and worrying about Washington. Not looking forward, not looking back."

Washington is 6-1 against SEC opponents since 1997.  This game goes off at 9:45 pm ET Friday.

Elsewhere, number-one seed Duke will take on the Hampton Pirates as a lofty -23 favorite.  This one will be broadcast on TruTV at 3:10 pm ET.  Duke has been one of the most wagered on teams of the season in terms of future bets where they were recently listed with 18/1 odds of winning the 2011 NCAA Championship after opening the season above 100/1 odds.

Hampton is in in the round of 64 for the first time since 2002.

"It's a good chance to measure where you are as a program," Hampton coach Edward Joyner Jr. said.

Ten years ago, the Pirates stunned a number-two seed, Iowa State, as the number-fifteen seed.  It matched the biggest upset to seeding in the history of the NCAA Tournament.

There are some terrific stats that favor Hampton where sports bettors are concerned:  6-0 Against The Spread on neutral courts, 5-1 ATS in non-conference games, 8-1 ATS in all tournament games.

As a neutral court favorite of 18.5 to 24 points, Duke has gone just 2-8 ATS since 1997.
