Penn State vs. Temple Line at -2.5: Owls Getting 65 Percent Backing on Spread

The Penn State vs. Temple line was coming in at Owls -2.5 late Wednesday.  Some 65 percent of those betting the spread at SBG Global were backing Temple.  85 percent were on the UNDER 121.5.

Past trends heavily favor the UNDER where Penn State is concerned.  The UNDER is 4-14 over the past two seasons on neutral courts, and 4-13 in all tournament games played over this period of time.  This season the UNDER is 1-5 versus good defensive teams - allowing <=64 points/game.

Elsewhere, The spread on Northern Colorado vs. San Diego State was -15.5 in favor of the Aztecs and just over 65 percent of gamblers were backing San Diego on the spread.  This one had an OVER/UNDER of 130.

The Utah vs. Kansas State line was sitting at -2.5 favoring KS.  65 percent of those betting the spread were backing the Wildcats.  Total action was relatively even. 

Belmont vs. Wisconsin featured a spread of -5 with the Badgers a favorite.  60 percent of those betting the spread were backing Wisconsin.  The OVER 126.5 was getting around 85 percent of the backing. 

Trends do not favor the Badgers.  They are 4-12 Against The Spread playing on neutral courts, 9-22 ATS versus good defensive teams - allowing <=64 points/game after 15+ games, and 4-12 in all tournament games over the past three years.
