As Gambling911.com has been reporting all morning Thursday, Anthony M. Carleo, 29, has been arrested in connection with the brazen robbery at the Bellagio Resort Casino back on December 14.  He is the son of a Vegas Municipal Judge.

Carleo stole $1.5 million in casino chips during the armed robbery, which lasted approximately 3 minutes.  The bandit wore only a motorcycle outfit and helmet.  He escaped using a motorcycle.

Now we get to see Carleo without the mask as he was booked this morning in Las Vegas.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department released the accompanying photo.

Bail has been set at $15,000 for Carleo on felony armed robbery and burglary charges and he has been ordered to make an initial appearance in court on Monday morning. Carleo will not be required to appear when a judge reviews the charges on Friday, Price said.

Jail records showed Carleo in custody under another name -- Anthony M. Assad, which is the same surname as his father, George Assad. It was not immediately clear whether he had a lawyer.

Earlier reports suggested that Carleo had been charged with trafficking narcotics, however, booking records do not indicate this to be the case.

Police noted that the theft of $1.5 million in casino chips could not be equated to stealing $1.5 in cash or gold since the chips had little value outside the casino itself.
