The world’s second largest online poker room, Full Tilt, is advising customers not to cash or deposit any recently issued checks.

One member of the popular TwoPlusTwo.com posting forum noted:

“I cashed out via check December 17th 2010. today is January 24th 2011 and I still haven’t received my check. today full tilt poker support contacted me and told me when I receive the checks do not try to cash them because they will be returned!”

Customers who substituted the eCheck option for bank wires were reporting fairly swift payouts on a whole however.  One forum member claims to have been paid within 24 hours of his request.

Full Tilt Poker is at the center of a US Attorney’s Office investigation out of Baltimore, Maryland whereby a handful of payment processors doing business with the company were recently charged.

Full Tilt itself has not been formally charged with any wrongdoing.
