The Super Bowl 2011 line for the Green Bay Packers vs. Pittsburgh Steelers has been posted.  The Packers are favorites with odds set at -2.5.   This line opened at Bookmaker.com, the oldest established North American-based online sportsbook.  Gambling911.com anticipated a shift in this line pretty early.

The Green Bay Packers won the NFC Championship earlier in the day.

"It's an incredible feeling," Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers said. "I'm at a loss for words."

Rodgers did not put up great numbers.  He ran for a score and made a touchdown saving tackle, leading his team to a 21-14 victory.

Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler went out with a knee injury in the first half.  Todd Collins was not effective as his replacement.  Instead, the Bears elected to play backup Caleb Hanie.  He had two touchdowns but also added two critical interceptions.

The Packers 21-14 win over the Bears was the first NFC Championship game since 1978 (Cowboys 28-0) that did not have a field goal made in the game.

The Steelers dominated in their AFC Championship game against the New York Jets during the first half, but Gang Green came back strong in the second half.  The final score was 24-19.

The Pittsburgh Steelers were listed with double digit odds of winning the 2011 Super Bowl due to off-the-field antics of their quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.  He was suspended for the first couple of games as a result.

This will be the third time in six years that the Steelers are going to the Super Bowl.
