Gambling911.com presents its 2011 NFL Divisional Playoffs Ravens-Steelers prediction, though it's more of a warning than anything else, as implied in the above headline.  We do have a potential way to bet this game appearing below however.  The Ravens-Steelers game goes off at 4:35 pm ET Saturday.  Spread action is even with nearly every online sportsbook offering Pittsburgh as a -3 favorite.  65 percent of the money line action was on Baltimore here.

Recent Performance:  In terms of head-to-head meetings, these two teams have split the last 4 while Pittsburgh is 5-2 over the last 7 games.  The Steelers and Ravens each had a win (both on the road) against one another this season, and both games were won by 3 points.  Simply put, this game should be a tight one, at least in theory.

As for recent performance overall by both teams, again there is little distinguishing between either team as they have been played top-notch football during the second half of this season with no sign of letting up.  The Ravens have won 7 of their last 8 games, losing only to Pittsburgh by that mere 3 points.  Pittsburgh has won 6 of their last 7, losing only to the Jets three weeks ago, and that was by only 5 points.

An argument can be made that only one of Pittsburgh’s recent wins came against a team that was above .500 (Baltimore).  Three of the Ravens last 8 wins were against teams above .500.

Recent Trends Have a Few That Go Against Pittsburgh:  There were only a handful of trends that stand out where the Ravens-Steelers are concerned, each of which related to Pittsburgh.

The Steelers are 2-13-1 Against The Spread in their last 16 games as a home favorite of 0.5-3.0 while The Ravens are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 road games.  Pittsburgh is 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games following a SU win of more than 14 points.

As the title suggests, we have no prediction to offer on this game.  If you can do a cross-team teaser, you might want to throw the underdog Ravens in there.
