2010 Week 14 NFL Power Rankings

These 2010 Week 14 NFL Power Rankings are based on current odds to win the 2011 Super Bowl as published by BetUS.com.

Once again, we have seen a change at the top of the rankings.  It’s happened just about every week.

There is even bigger news in that, for the first time this season, a team’s odds of winning the 2011 Super Bowl are shorter than 7/1.  In this case, the New England Patriots are now 5/1 favorites and would pay out $500 for every $100 bet.

The Atlanta Falcons drop to 2nd in our rankings, but only because of New England’s dominance over New York Monday night, thus thrusting the Pats into the top spot.

The Philadelphia Eagles, meanwhile, rebounded from number 8 to number 5 this week.  They have been on quite a rollercoaster ride within the Gambling911.com 2010 Week 14 NFL Power Rankings ever since entering 4 weeks ago at number 10.  They immediately jumped to number 1 the next week before falling back to number 8 and now number 5 this week.  This activity has occurred during a season where the top 10 has had little fluidity, outside of the number 1 position constantly changing.  The average new team to enter the top 10 rankings each week has been one.

The ( ) represents last week’s position.
