Packers vs. Jets Spread

The Packers vs. Jets spread was mostly sitting around New York -6 across the board, however, as of Wednesday night, SBG Global had a carrot on the stick with the Jets at -5.  The spread action was even on this game as was the money line, which would pay out $20 on every $10 bet for Green Bay should they win outright.

The Jets enjoyed their bye last week and come into this one with a 5-1 record, though their win against Denver was hardly pretty.

New York won 24-20 to a team that got destroyed by Oakland last week. LaDainian Tomlinson scored his second touchdown from 2 yards out with 73 seconds left after a 46-yard pass interference flag on fourth down and the New York Jets rallied past Denver.

The Green Bay Packers enter this game a disappointing 4-3 considering they were widely touted as likely Super Bowl contenders coming into the season.  They did, however, manage to beat Minnesota last week by a score of 28-24.

Below we will analyze the important betting trends coming into this game.

The Jets are 5-1 ATS so far this season, including last week where they were a +3 underdog.

They are 4-0 ATS following a Straight Up win.  The Packers are 6-2-1 ATS in their last 9 games following a ATS win.

New York is 6-1 ATS vs. a team with a winning record.

The Jets are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 games following a bye week.

The Packers are 12-4-1 ATS in their last 17 games as a road underdog and 21-10-1 ATS in their last 32 road games.

The Packers vs. Jets Spread of -5 should be locked in now here for those backing the Jets as it is likely to change.
