The Rangers-Giants World Series line for Thursday’s Game 2 was at -115 at BetED.com (remember that BetED.com is offering a free 50 percent cash on your initial bet if it is a winner)

The Giants beat Texas Wednesday in Game 1 with a score of 11-7.

Cliff Lee threw 104 pitches in 4 2/3 IP. That's tied for the 2nd-most pitches in ANY postseason start with less than 5 IP since 2000.

But the Giants bats proved too much for the lefty Lee, who was coming off of 8 days rest.  Freddy Sanchez hit three doubles and keyed a six-run burst that put San Francisco up one game win in this World Series.

"You never think you're going to have success against a pitcher like that," Sanchez said. "He's one of the best pitchers in the game, been unhittable in the postseason."

The Rangers have dropped 12 straight in San Francisco, including 10 in a row at AT&T Park.
