These 2010 Week 5 NFL Power Rankings are based on the current odds to win the 2011 Super Bowl being offered by BetUS.com.
One of the more interesting facets of this week’s power rankings is that there are no new entries. Also there has been very little movement from last week’s rankings.
The Packers regain the number one spot after a win this week while the Colts fall back to number two following their loss in Jacksonville.
The next five teams retain their previous positions.
Atlanta moves up a notch as does San Diego. The 1-2 Dallas Cowboys did not play this past weekend and that seems to have cost them two positions.
While the 2010 Week 5 NFL Power Rankings practically resemble the previous week’s rankings, odds to win the 2011 Super Bowl have changed dramatically in some cases.
The Colts now pay $800 for every $100 bet to win the 2011 Super Bowl, compared to 7/1 odds last week. Interestingly enough, Indianapolis was the only team to see its odds get longer this week.
The Ravens odds have been slashed to 10/1 and Gambling911.com anticipates a single digit price by next week.
The New York Jets were also slashed from 12/1 to 10/1 this week.
New England and Atlanta witnessed 4 point reductions in their respective odds to win the 2011 Super Bowl. The Patriots had been at 14/1 odds but were now at 10/1 while Atlanta had been at 16/1 and were now at 12/1.

*2 (1) – Indianapolis Colts – Pay $800 odds.
*3 (3) – New Orleans Saints – Pay 9/1 odds.
*4 (4) – Pittsburgh Steelers – Pays 10/1 odds.
*5 (5) – Baltimore Ravens – Pays 10/1 odds.
*6 (6) – New York Jets – 10/1 odds.
*7 (7) – New England Patriots – 10/1 odds.
*8 (9) – Atlanta Falcons – 12/1 odds.
*9 (10) – San Diego Chargers – Pays 14/1 odds.
*10 (8) – Dallas Cowboys – 14/1 odds.
