The Detroit Lions vs. Green Bay Packers spread had fallen from Packers -16 to -14 at BetUS.com by Friday night.  Interestingly enough, more than 60 percent of the betting action was coming Detroit’s way in this game.

For the past two weeks, the Packers were the favorites to win the 2011 Super Bowl, until losing to Chicago this past Monday night.  The Indianapolis Colts are now favored to win the championship game at BetUS.com.

Green Bay comes into this game with a 2-1 record while Detroit is looking to win its first game of the 2010 regular season.

The Lions will have their work cut out for them here as Green Bay has won the last 9 games in this series.  They have covered the current spread 4 of those times including twice last season.

The Lions are 1-5-2 Against The Spread in their last 8 games as a road underdog of 10.5 or greater and are 1-6-1 ATS in their last 8 vs. NFC North.

The Packers, meanwhile, are 5-0-1 Against The Spread vs. a team with a losing record. They are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games following a Straight Up loss.

Green Bay is also 9-2-1 ATS in their last 12 games overall and are 10-4 ATS in their last 14 vs. NFC North.

One weak point for the Packers:  They are 4-10-2 ATS in their last 16 games as a home favorite of 10.5 or greater.
