The map below courtesy of BetOnline.ag is based on geotagged X data in the past week (9 days), tracking official fan hashtags in each state, such as #ChiefsKingdom vs. #FlyEaglesFly, as well as keyword phrases like, "I'm rooting for the Chiefs," or "I'm rooting for the Eagles." Over 260,000 tweets were tracked by BetOnline.

As you can see from the map, America is clearly rooting for the Philadelphia Eagles. Given that the Chiefs are the currently the most "hated" NFL team (fan fatigue, dynasty, Taylor Swift, idea that refs/NFL favor them) it's not surprising.

The states mostly rooting for the Chiefs are Cowboys fans (Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas), Commanders fans (Virginia), and Chiefs fans.

The surprising one to me is that the New England area is split between the Chiefs and Eagles.

Will Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs complete the first ever "Three-peat," NFL fans are certainly rooting against it, but it's tough to bet against Kansas City. We'll find out this Sunday.

State Breakdown:

Eagles - 40 states        (all other states)

Chiefs - 10 states         (Arkansas, Connecticut, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, Oklahoma, Texas, Virginia)
