At BetOnline.ag, there have been odds for the next team for veteran wide receivers Davante Adams, Stefon Diggs, Amari Cooper, Keenan Allen and Kevin Lockett.
Those odds took a decent number of wagers, but for some reason once Cooper Kupp lines were put up Friday morning, the bettors went crazy.
Kupp took more wagers in two hours than the other five did in multiple days causing the oddsmakers to shut down the market.
So, what gives? We’re not totally sure, but 95% of the action was on the Seahawks.
Seattle Sports questioned what Kupp could bring to the Seahawks, a lot older and less healthier.
"After a triple-crown season in 2021 that saw Kupp surpass 1,900 yards and win Super Bowl MVP, he has dealt with a number of injuries. He landed on injured reserve the following season with an ankle sprain that required surgery and finished the year with just nine starts. He began 2023 on IR with a hamstring issue that limited him to 12 games and 737 yards. He missed four weeks last season with another ankle injury and finished with 710 yards, the second-lowest total of his career."
