.JJ. McCarthy passing yards total came in at 220.5 for Monday night's game versus Chicago. 

McCarthy was selected in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft (10th overall) by the Vikings and will immediately be thrust into the prime time spotlight in his first NFL game. 

During the 2024 preseason, he suffered a torn meniscus in his right knee and subsequently underwent surgery.

With the Michigan Wolverines in 2023, McCarthy's stats were as follows:

Rushing Yards: 202

Rushing Touchdowns: 3
