CJ Stroud passing yards total Over/Under prop bet came in at 265.5 for the Week 3 game against Minnesota Sunday.
Stroud completed 23-of-36 passes for 260 yards and one touchdown in the Texans’ 19-13, Week 2 win over the Bears.

Stroud locked onto alpha wide receiver Nico Collins in this one, feeding the youngster 10 targets on his 36 pass attempts, while no other pass-catcher saw more than six looks. The two maintain an elite connection on the field following Collins’ breakout campaign in 2023. Even so, the offense largely struggled outside of Collins, gaining just 310 total yards of offense against a stingy Chicago defense. Either way, the Texans escaped with their second consecutive win to start the season and now turn their attention to another tough defense in the Vikings in Week 3.
The week prior Stroud completed 24-of-32 passes for 234 yards and two touchdowns in the Texans’ 29-27, Week 1 win over the Colts.
Houston picked off rookie Caleb Williams twice after halftime and the Texans held on for a 19-13 victory.
“It’s just about winning one week at a time,” coach DeMeco Ryans said. “They’re not always going to be pretty, but you just have to find a way to win. That’s what I’m most proud about with our guys. No matter what happened there at the end, we found a way to win.”
The line on this game has moved from Houston -2.5 to -1.5. Sagarin indicates a slight overlay though the 1.5 has gotten closer to its number of Texans 0.79.
Overlays in the 2.5/3 range do not provide any edge according to our model. The accurate line of 1 is quite favorable towards Houston but that only began occurring on Friday.
