LAS VEGAS, Nev (Gambling911.com) - Qantas this week unannounced new discounted flights between Sydney, Australia and Las Vegas, Nevada.
Those fares start at $1249 but with a limited flight window of between 19 January to 16 February 2027.
The airline announced $939 from Sydney and LA during this period when the Super Bowl will be played at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on 14 February 2027.
“Las Vegas has been one of the most talked-about additions to our network in years and this sale gives customers the chance to lock in a seat on the only nonstop flight between Australia and the entertainment capital of the world,” Qantas International CEO Cam Wallace said. “This sale also includes discounted fares across every North American destination we fly to, from Honolulu to Los Angeles and Toronto, so whether it’s a week in Waikiki, skiing in Whistler, New York over Thanksgiving or a few days on the Strip, there’s something here for every kind of traveller.”
The Sydney-Las Vegas Qantas flights are new. They are set to begin December 29, 2026 and operates seasonally through March 12, 2027. Qantas currently has it scheduled three times weekly — Tuesday, Friday and Sunday.
For those desiring to come visit Vegas from Australia, the average hotel rates were currently showing around $200 per night for this period, though prices will vary between properties and depending on the actual days.

$1,049 from Sydney to Los Angeles, with travel dates available around Super Bowl LXI, being played at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on 14 February 2027.
$1,459 from Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne to Vancouver, with travel dates available through the North American ski season to the end of March 2027.
$1,549 from Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne to New York, with travel dates available in the lead-up to Thanksgiving and the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on 26 November.
$1,699 from Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne to Dallas Fort Worth, the airline’s gateway to onward connections right across the United States with partner American Airlines.
