Mike Budenholzer lasted one season in Phoenix. The franchise’s previous coach, Frank Vogel, also lasted one season in Phoenix.

Both of those coaches earned a ring coaching a championship team.

Yet, the Suns’ overzealous owner, Mat Ishbia, fired both after only one season.

He overpaid for Kevin Durant. He overpaid for Bradley Beal.

Also, they have very little draft capital available, nor do they control their own first round pick through 2031.

Where do they turn from here?

The oddsmakers at BetOnline.ag opened odds for the next Suns head coach and a familiar name leads the board.

Steve Nash and Sam Cassell are pretty much co-favorites at +400 and +450, respectively, but followed closely by Willie Green at +500.
