Christmas Day is Thursday and that means a bunch of NBA games and plenty of wagering opportunities, including which players will score 25 or more points. There are also prop bets for 30+.
Jalen Brunson is priced at -280 to score at least 25 points, and pays even odds to score 30 or more.
Brunson finished Sunday’s win over the Heat with 47 points (15-of-26 FGs, 11-of-11 FTs), three rebounds, eight assists and six three-pointers.
Brunson was rolling from the start on Sunday, scoring 27 points in the first half. The Heat couldn’t come up with an answer for the Knicks guard after the break either. His 47 points were a season-high and the most he’s scored in a game at Madison Square Garden. Brunson and the Knicks now have a friendlier week from a scheduling standpoint, as they play three games in Week 10 without a back-to-back.
Donovan Mitchell is priced at -295 to score 25+ points this Christmas.
Mitchell went off for a game-high 27 points (11-of-16 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), four rebounds, four assists and one steal over 29 minutes on Tuesday, leading the Cavaliers to a 141-118 blowout win over the Pelicans.
Karl-Anthony Towns will pay out $154 for every $100 bet to score 25 or more points Thursday.
Towns finished Tuesday’s loss to the Timberwolves with 40 points (14-of-24 FGs, 9-of-11 FTs), 13 rebounds, one assist, one steal and three three-pointers.
The Knicks didn’t have Jalen Brunson or OG Anunoby on Tuesday, so even more of the team’s offense ran through Towns. The 7-footer took full advantage, recording his first 40-point game of the season. Add in the rebounds and three-pointers, and this was one of KAT’s best performances of the season. Brunson and Anunoby should be back for the Knicks’ Christmas Day matinee against the Cavaliers, but Towns should remain an elite option in fantasy leagues.
