The Game 6 line for Friday's game has LA as a -145 favorite to win in Toronto Thursday night. The line opened at -135 with 80% of the money coming in on the Blue Jays moneyline early with Toronto the +131 dog, up from +122 overnight.

Trey Yesavage soaked in Dodger Stadium, filled with 52,175 fans about to watch him pitch in the World Series, and thought back to starting his season in front of 327 spectators in the low minor leagues.

“Crazy world,” the wide-eyed Toronto Blue Jays pitcher said. “Hollywood couldn’t have made it this good.”

Just 46 days after rocketing to his fifth level of professional baseball this season for his major league debut, Yesavage pitched one of the best games by a rookie in World Series history as Toronto walked away with a 6-1 victory and goes up 3-2 in the series. The Blue Jays are now one game away from their first World Series championship since 1993.

“The job is not done yet,” Toronto star Vladimir Guerrero Jr. said through a translator.

Friday night's game has the Dodgers starting Yoshinobu Yamamoto (12-8, 2.49 ERA, 0.99 WHIP, 201 strikeouts) on the mound versus Blue Jays: Kevin Gausman (10-11, 3.59 ERA, 1.06 WHIP, 189 strikeouts).

Yamamoto has allowed just five hits in 33 at bats and zero home runs with just one RBI versus these Blue Jays.

The Dodgers have faced Gausman a total of 180 times with Max Muncy hitting four home runs in 21 at bats against him and Will Smith going 4-for-13.
