It appears the Lionel Messi-PSG breakup is going to happen sooner than later.

On Wednesday it was revealed that Messi was suspended for two weeks by the club for making an unauthorized trip to Saudi Arabia.  Fine way to treat the G.O.A.T.  His Saudi trip pretty much helped determine the favorite for Messi's next soccer squad.

Other media outlets are speculating that his departure is all but confirmed.

SportsBetting.ag set odds for the location of Messi's next team, and a Saudi-based squad is the odds-on favorite at -200.

Europe is second on the list while the USA, if the MLS can afford him, has the third-best odds.

There is some good value with the USA at 6-1 as Messi owns a home in South Florida.

MLS and Inter Miami might consider giving Messi ownership stakes to make up for the inability to pay him his asking price.

Ahmed Al Khateeb, the Minister of Tourism for Saudi Arabia, tweeted Monday: “I am happy to welcome #Messi and his family to Saudi to enjoy the magical tourist destinations and authentic experiences.

“We welcome visitors from all around the world to experience a unique trip to Saudi Arabia and its hospitality.”

PSG did not take too kindly to that revelation.
