Thursday morning, news came out that Karl-Anthony Towns suffered a left meniscus injury and is out for an indefinite period of time. That could mean two weeks or that could mean the rest of the season.
Naturally, this news has had an impact on Minnesota’s NBA title odds and Western Conference odds. The Timberwolves are currently tied for first place in the West.

- Before KAT injury, they were tied for fifth in the NBA Championship odds at 18/1 (now they are tied for ninth at 28/1)
- Before KAT injury, they were tied for third in the West odds at 15/2 (now they are tied for fifth with the Warriors at 12/1)
