Why Bet on Exaggerator to Win This Year’s Kentucky Derby

There are a number of reasons to bet on Exaggerator to win the 2016 Kentucky Derby.  He has the second shortest odds at 8-1.

Following a loss to Nyquist, Exaggerator has changed his running style to be more suitable for the Kentucky Derby.

Exaggerator was also the winner of the all important Santa Anita Derby.

His odds are especially enticing with an $80 payout for every $10 bet.

The obvious drawback for Exaggerator is his number 11 position that has won just two in seventy-five starts and zero since 1999.  This was the second lowest win percentage of any starting spot.

And while the Santa Anita win was impressive, it was also accomplished on a muddy track.  Saturday’s track at Churchill Downs will be dry.
