What Will the Payout Be if Practical Joke Wins the 2017 Kentucky Derby?
Practical Joke winning this year’s Kentucky Derby would pay out close to $200 for every $10 bet.
Not much has been written about this under-the-radar winner of the Hopeful and Champaign Grade 1 races. Practical Joke went on to finish his next three graded races in 3rd and 2nd place in the last two. Not too shabby.
What’s not to like about Practical Joke?
Well, the number 19 post position for starters. I’ll Have Another was the first horse to win from that position back in 2012. There have only been two in the money finishes from the number 19.
His ability to run the distance is in question.
