Untrapped Odds of Winning the 2017 Kentucky Derby

Untrapped was coming in at 31-1 odds of winning the 2017 Kentucky Derby.

Following a 2rd place finish at the Risen Star and 3rd place showing at the Rebel Stakes, Untrapped took at step back at the all-important Arkansas Derby with a 6th place showing.

Trainer Steve Asmussen was brutally honest regarding his chances following the post position draw.

“With Untrapped, the four is a bit of a concern because Always Dreaming is just to his outside and he’ll probably be the pace horse.”
