Super Saver Preakness Stakes

He won the 2010 Kentucky Derby two weeks ago but Super Saver is not getting much love from the oddsmakers.  Despite continued heavy betting action on Super Saver, he is just barely clinging on to "favorite" status at online betting sites the likes of betED.com.

The Preakness Stakes, the middle jewel in horse racing's Triple Crown, takes place Saturday at Pimlico Race Course.

betED.com has Kentucky Derby winner Super Saver as the favorite against 11 challengers in Saturday's $1 million race on the 1 3/16-mile track.

Super Saver, however, was a mere half point odds-favorite with Lookin At Lucky coming in at +300 or 3/1.  Super Saver would pay out $25 for every $10 bet.

At some books, Paddy O'prado was within a point difference of Super Saver though betED.com had Paddy paying $55 for every $10 bet should he happen to win the 2010 Preakness Stakes.

The Preakness will likely have one thing the Kentucky Derby did not: good weather. Churchill Downs was a muddy mess on Derby day, but Pimlico should be a fast track, with a few thunderstorms forecast for Friday but dry with partly cloudy skies and a post-time temperature near 75 on the radar for Saturday.

All Preakness Stakes odds appear below and were available at betED.com.  Remember to claim your FREE CASH BONUS when joining betED.com (in business for over 10 years now).  Use bonus code GAMBLING911
