Pocahontas Stakes betting odds for 2013 were available at PerHead.com here for bookies, WagerWeb.com here for regular gamblers.  Neither will ever ask for a social security number when signing up, unlike other US-based horse racing sites.

The Pocahontas Stakes is run at Churchill Downs in Louisville, Kentucky, home of the Kentucky Derby.

Two-year-old fillies run on dirt, left-handed for one mile. This race features a $200,000 purse.

The first race was held on Thanksgiving Day in 1969 and was fittingly named for Pocahontas, the daughter of Native-American chief Powhatan,  who aided the early American settlers.

As of 2010, the Pocahontas Stakes is recognized as a Grade II race.

Gambling911.com lists the odds below for this race.

Milam 2/1
Stonetastic 2/1
Untapable 3/1
Elena Strikes 3/1
Rosalind 4/1
Harlans Special 5/1
Nevada Deputy 8/1
Redheaded Witch 12/1
