Nyquist Odds of Winning Triple Crown: His Camp is Feeling Comfortable

Nyquist had odds of winning a Triple Crown that would pay out $22 for every $10 bet.

On Tuesday, his camp said they were feeling comfortable about his chances following a statement win at Saturday’s Kentucky Derby.

"He's not going to allow another horse to beat him. He always has something left," jockey Mario Gutierrez said of Nyquist. "If someone's coming late, he can win by five lengths or he can win by a nose. If anyone is coming late, I'll know he'll have something else."

Nyquist was 7-for-7 heading into the Derby, making him the first unbeaten winner here since Big Brown in 2008.
