The Kentucky Derby post position draw for 2015 is scheduled for 5:30 pm EST.  The outcome will impact the odds as the draw positions play an important role when it comes to Kentucky Derby performance, or at least the perception.

California Chrome become the ninth horse to win from the number 5 post position.  The number 5 and number 10 positions are tied for yielding the most wins in a Kentucky Derby.

I’ll Have Another became the first Kentucky Derby entry to win from the number 19 post position just three years ago.
