The Saturday July 30 big horse betting card in the States is the $500,000 Jim Dandy-G2 at Saratoga and the horse to watch is Stay Thirsty as the 5/2 favorite but Brilliant Speed (7/2) and Dominus (3/1) also have very short odds in this competitive race.

You can bet this one online at Bookmaker, which offers 8 percent cash back.  Bookmaker has been in operation since 1986 and are considered the most respected sportsbook operating in North America.

Saturday’s Jim Dandy has a post time of 5:45 ET. Live race coverage can be found on Versus, TVG and HRTV. Exacta, Trifecta, Superfecta, and Daily Double wagering is available.

Here are your contenders:

1.    Moonshine Mullin (15/1)

Regarding slim favorite Brilliant Speed, Joey Adams of Bookmaker noted that he is the only Grade I winner in the horse betting field, having taken the Toyota Blue Grass Stakes-G1 at Keeneland back in April.

He subsequently finished 7th in the Kentucky Derby-G1 and 3rd in the Belmont Stakes-G1. While Saturday’s distance won’t be an issue, he is still searching for his first horse betting win on dirt.

“This may be the spot where he finally nails that elusive horse betting victory on dirt,” Adams said.

Regarding the favorite Stay Thirsty, Adams noted that there is widespread concern that his runner-up effort in the Belmont Stakes was simply the result of a rail-skimming trip.
